Responsible Waste Management

Construction and electrical work generates an amount of waste, which is often difficult to recycle and should be disposed of, responsibly.  Typical electrical waste includes:

  • old electric cables

  • discarded light fittings

  • old plastic sockets

  • consumer units and switchgear

  • replaced items such as extractors, heaters, ducting and electrical conduit/ trunking

  • cardboard

  • packaging

  • outdoor materials like rubble, paving and soil

  • construction materials, such as plasterboard

We believe that customers should expect this kid of waste to be removed from site, and also be assured that it's being recycled and disposed of in a compliant and environmentally friendly manner.

Harding Electric Company therefore utilises a respected national waste carrier, for the recycling of our trade waste.  Compiling with ISO14001:2015 and OHSAS18001:2007

With this service, all waste is removed from customer sites and disposed of responsibly.
